As MasterChef Season 8 comes to a wrap, what are we going to do? Like every journey in our lives there comes a cross road, like Tom Hanks in the movie, “Castaway” at the end when he comes to the intersection and has to make that decision of where to go. Well, here we are, where do I go?

Fortunately, I’m going to chase my dream. A brick and mortar restaurant just isn’t my “cup of tea”, at least not yet. I’m going to have to continue to make a living in my other endeavors, cuz I still gotta eat and pay my bills, however I’m going to continue to cook for others.

EatWith has been a great outlet, so far, with taking that dining experience to the guest . We have one under our belt now, and I must say, I like it. We did a five course menu with beverages, and it turned out great, whew! So, now, we are planning our next, and we’re leaning towards a great “Prime Burger” event, so keep an eye out there.

I wanna get involved in more judging events and have been humbly asked to help judge the “Bacon Bash” in Cranfills Gap, Tx on October 21st. This event is based on one of my favorite food items, PORK!

We are going to do some outdoor catering with BBQ, grilling, Dutch Oven cooking and open pit cooking as well, so keep an eye out for that and join in if you wish!

We’ve been fortunately asked to do a cooking demonstration at the great “Texas State Fair” which happens to be one of my favorite attractions my whole life!

Probably my favorite and most humbling will be the charitable side where we can give back to the so many that have supported me along this life changing journey. I have, and continue to look forward to helping the 4H programs through demonstrations, coaching and assisting in their Food challenge events. We’re working with our local Food banks and pantries to help raise the money and food needs for those whom need that extended hand at times.
