Cowboy Chef Newton On the Road - Take 1

Do you like to travel? Do you love great food? Clearly you are a Cowboy Chef Newton fan or you wouldn't be reading this...

Welcome, Cowboy Chef Newton On the Road, the first of hopefully many opportunities to enjoy the culinary creativity of Cowboy Chef Newton somewhere other than at Newton's Saddlerack in Stephenville, TX. The first stop is Tubac Jack's Restaurant and Saloon in beautiful Tubac, AZ just 45 minutes south of Tuscon, Friday and Saturday, February 17-18th.

Come for one night or enjoy both menus Friday and Saturday nights (and get a sweet little discount!).

Friday night will be a more casual menu that you would expect from a cowboy chef, 3 courses featuring a House Salad of Mixed Greens topped with Carrots, Tomatoes, Purple Onions & Shredded Cheese, Jalapeno Ranch dressing and Chef's Bourbon Candied Chipotle Pecans, Chicken Fried New York Strip with Jalapeno Cream Gravy, Chipotle Mashed Potatoes and the freshest vegetable of the day available, followed by Newton's beyond amazing, Newton's unbelievably moist Bread Pudding topped with a decadent Honey Whiskey Cream Sauce.

Saturday night will be a 4-course casual fine dining experience complete with wine pairings with each course, followed by Live music on the patio after dinner.

The first course will be Cowboy Chef's signature Southwest Caesar Salad, where he uses lime instead of lemon and a bit of chipotle to give it a bit of kick, topped with his Green Chile Cornbread Croutons.

Second course will feature a Chicken Chipotle Pasta with a Chipotle Cream Sauce, Mushrooms, Red Onion, Red Peppers and fresh shaved Parmesan.

Course Three will be your choice of Chilean Sea Bass served cast iron pan seared with Newton's rice and a Bernaise sauce on the side or Filet Bernaise featuring a cast iron pan seared 8 oz Beef Tenderloin Filet with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, both served with the freshest vegetable of the day.

The Fourth Course will be Newton's Famous Creme Brulee, a creamy French custard, not too sweet, with a caramelized sugar finish.

Each course will be served with the perfect wine pairing, and you can enjoy Live music on the patio following your Dining Experience.
